Durango
Only a six hour scenic drive away from Denver, you can find yourself in the historic city of Durango. Explore the Old West in Downtown Durango by visiting galleries, the Railroad Museum and even an authentic saloon. Fall in Durango is a beautiful time to see golden aspens, enjoy outdoor activities in the cooler temperatures and enjoy the fall harvest at local restaurants. Add some adventure to your trip and take the family on the Durango Silverton Train, an interactive experience on the historic railroad built in 1882. Venture 30 minutes out of Palisade to take in the beauty of of the Colorado National Monument, a geological wonderland with towering rocks and impressive canyons.
